This is a blog version of my travel guide video on YouTube:
Hello adventurers!
I’m back from Jeju island after HUNTING for the PERFECT cafe to escape the city life. I sought a cafe where I can sit down, enjoy Fantastic Food & drinks, while in sight of a STUNNING view.
By the end of this post, you’d be grabbing your passport, booking a flight to JEJU and making 8 cafe reservations….
Let’s begin!
8. Harakeke Cafe

Nestled along the coastline, this gem of a cafe offers breathtaking views
Within beautiful spacious setting.

It was super easy for me to find a quiet corner, and enjoy the view with my drinks. You can even chill inside the swimming pool!

Osulloc Tea Museum

This cafe is run by a VERY FAMOUS tea brand in Korea.
The flower gardens and tea fields all around the cafe feels like a royal palace

It’s actually part of the tea MUSEUM, but honestly there’s much more shopping than museum in the whole building. It does get crowded in the main building, but theres a second quieter building you can escape to

Biyangnol

This is a coastal cafe with a stunning panoramic view of a rocky coast.
The best part about this cafe is enjoying their scones with HOT tea, sitting in their rustic garden interior, and the rocky ocean in the background.

I really like their rustic interior. They sell very good scones, which goes well with some tea to properly enjoy the beautiful scenery. For the BEST unblocked view, head up to the second floor.

Seonheul Cafe

The view may not be the main attraction here, but the food was unforgettable. We came here for lunch, and was not disappointed by the delicious pastries, risotto, and garlic prawn pizza.

The dining experience was made complete with the beautiful and serene modern garden interior

Coffee Sketch

The next cafe gives you an amazing view of a FAMOUS geological landmark: YongMeori.

It is said to look like a dragon… honestly i cannot figure out where is the dragon but the fierce ocean waves battling against the jagged cliffs is INCREDIBLY STUNNING.
The BEST way to enjoy this cafe is to find a good seat by the window and watch.

If you’re enjoying this STUNNING list so far, please leave a like so that more people can find it 😉
Cafe Gyulkkot Darak
Now down to our top 3!

This little cafe looked small and insignificant from outside But the moment I stepped in, everything changed.

The interior decorations spoke to me. I really liked the many windows draped with pretty curtains, that makes incoming light so elegant.

The best part of this cafe is the orange tangerines in the backyard making everything so much more vibrant. The name Gyulkkot Darak actually means a cafe where many tangerines and flowers hang, and I think the cafe executed the meaning of the name pretty well.
About the food and drinks here:

I didn’t really enjoy their jelly, because it was too tarty and brittle. The drinks here are OK
The main cafe building was very crowded when i visited, but there are other sitting areas in the backyard that you can go to. so it’s very possible to just get a drink and find a quiet spot.
Windmill Cafe

This cafe has the MOST iconic view. maybe it’s just me, but i really like looking at windmills…
For the MOST stunning view, get up to the roof level and witness the whole row of windmills against the horizon.

This cafe is also PERFECT for watching the sunset, because it’s at the northwestern side of the island, and the windmills add a touch of drama to the sunset.

The interiors are also very pleasant to look at with many seating areas to enjoy the view.
Seogwipian Bakery

This café is our absolute favorite, both for my wife and I.

We just couldnt get enough of this STUNNING view with the bay from the cafe. The large full length window makes the view so CINEMATIC

This cafe gets number 1 because we also fell in love with their bakery. I think they have the BEST offering of baked goods on the island.
We loved it so much here we ate and drink for 4 hours here enjoying the stunning views and fantastic food.

This cafe gets a lot of visitors but thankfully, theres a whole other floor full of sitting area
AND even a balcony in the upper level. So you’ll definitely find the space to enjoy all these.
