I started my writing journey when I was in Tokyo, Japan for a school exchange. I had quite a bit of spare time for exploration and found the inspiration to pen them down. I was sharing my stories with a few close friends and found out they liked it. Hence Dashing Heights was born, out of my ambition to share my story – to inspire others to revel in their own adventures.
Usually I travel solo; alone, but never lonely. For me, part of the adventure is finding company on the trail. It is also because there are not many who likes to travel the way I do. Then I got married and now travels as a couple!
I love finding large nature reserve lined with hiking trails. I’d spend a days through-hiking the main features of the place, hopping from one campsite to the next. My favourite hikes were 3-5 multi-days trek across over beautiful remote wilderness. It indeed is quite difficult to find a willing company for this.
